Mountains and rivers and the great Earth
Are already nothing but dust.
While man, to be sure, is but dust within dust.
Bodies composed of muscle and blood
Will surely return to bubble and shadow
While human affairs, to be sure, are but shadows within shades.
If the highest wisdom is not obtained,
There will be no heart of understanding.
